MIQC 2nd interim meeting held online

In May 2012, INRIM hosted their Quantum 2012 workshop bringing together researchers with an interest in quantum information science, quantum mechanics and quantum optics. There were 120 oral presentations and 32 posters. Four papers were presented from the MIQC consortium:
- Metrology for quantum key distribution optical components, C. Chunnilall, NPL
- Single photon detector characterisation: a 15 years INRIM effort, I. P Degiovanni, INRIM
- Ancilla-assisted POVM reconstruction of a PNR detector, F. Piacentini
- Experiments on innovative QKD at INRIM, P. Traina, INRIM
