METROSION Metrology to enable high temperature erosion testing

Metrology to enable high temperature erosion testing (METROSION)

A three year collaborative project between five European National Measurement Institutes (NMIs) to develop improved measurement and control methods to enable more precise quantification of the high temperature solid particle erosion (HTSPE) performance of structural materials and coatings.

The project will develop the methodology, capability and expertise to perform HTSPE tests with improved levels of uncertainty and reproducibility enabling more precise control of the HTSPE test to ensure the test conditions truly represent those required.
