The Metrology for Biogas consortium brings together the expertise of leading European NMIs in the characterisation of non-conventional energy gases. The consortium is further strengthened by the participation of one unfunded Partner (HCP) providing key support to instrumental developments of spectroscopic techniques and two Researcher Excellence Grants (University of Valladolid and INERIS).
Of the participating NMIs:
Furthermore, the consortium brings together the experience in EURAMET together for direct calorific value measurement (LNE, PTB), density measurement (SMU, CEM) and particle measurements (LNE, MIKES).
The work undertaken by the partners in the consortium is complementary and the combined effort of the partners with scientific and technological excellence in all aspects of the project will generate powerful synergies and lead to the successful conclusion of the project.
