Consortium
The strategic partners of the DREAMSys project consortium led by NPL Management Ltd are QinetiQ Ltd, Hoare Lea Acoustics and Castle Group Ltd.
While each partner has a specific role, all will be involved in every stage of the project, ensuring both the compatibly of each component and that the resulting DREAMSys array is fit for purpose.

NPL has the key management responsibility of DREAMSys.- Castle Group
Castle will use their experience in designing commercial products for the noise measurement market to integrate the MEMS microphone into an instrument with wireless and signal processing functionality.- Hoare Lea
Hoare Lea will pilot deployment of the system to gather noise data over several months, with NPL providing additional resource to manage the ongoing data collection. - QinetiQ
The presence of QinetiQ means that the consortium can exploit high-performance sensor technology originating from the defence arena, and use it in environmental applications, enhancing acoustic measurement capabilities in that field.
