- The mean sensitivity of the MEMS microphones to pressure sound fields is 23 dB re 1 V/pa, (for an amplified circuit)
- Compared to ½" diameter stem, an 8mm diameter stem provides a significant improvement in frequency response at higher frequency.
- The pressure of fixing lugs on the masthead has a negligible effect upon frequency response.
- Aco 3" windshield provides 22 dBA of wind attenuation, when the microphone diaphragm is perpendicular to wind direction, if the wind speed is less than 11 m/s.
- Self-noise is typically 36 dBA SPL (for an amplified circuit).
